Worthing Thunder are pleased to announce that Zaire Taylor will be returning to suit up for the team for the forthcoming season 2019-20.
After a successful season last year which saw the team pick up the National Trophy but come up short by the narrowest of margins in the League and to finish runners-up in the Play-Offs the Club is looking to build on their current position and seek to add more silverware to their honours list.
Club Chairman Frank Gainsbury said “We are delighted to welcome Zaire back to the Club for next season. Zaire is a key member of the team and his presence on court will no doubt ensure that we will be up amongst the honours again next season. We are looking forward to another 9 months of exciting basketball in Worthing and this signing pouts down a marker for our ongoing intentions to continue to be competitive moving forward”.
Zaire Taylor commented “I’m very excited to be returning to Thunder where we have had two great seasons. We won two titles, but we still have some unfinished business and I truly believe our best years are still ahead of us. I’m looking forward to another great season with the team and supporters.”
