Worthing Thunder are pleased to welcome American duo Ronald Blain and David Moya for the upcoming season

6’5” Ronald who attended Hawaii Pacific university has certainly made a name for himself the last two seasons at Team Newcastle where he averaged 22.5 points per game and 9.4 rebounds per game he also helped Newcastle university to a BUCs championship

Ronald was named in NBL team of the year

Joining Ronald is his team mate from Team Newcastle, 6’0” point guard David Moya who last season led the league in assists with 9.3 per game while averaging 17.9 points per game

Ronald commented: “The opportunity to play for Worthing Thunder is one that I couldn’t overlook, I am excited to be surrounded by a team and club with big aspirations for the season ahead. The sky’s the limit for this group and I’m looking forward to helping us achieve the ultimate goals as a team, which is to win some hardware. Let’s go to work.”

David Commented: “I’m really excited about the opportunity to join Worthing and compete for every championship. We’re going to have a lot of talent and it’s going to be a lot of fun to play and watch. The Thunderdome was one of the best crowds I played in front of last year and I’m happy to have those fans on my side this time around”

Zaire Commented: I am very excited  to be able to bring David and Ronald to Worthing they already have a great chemistry on the court, both are top 5 players in the league and were both voted for rebounds all star game, with David leading the league in assists he will fit in perfectly and with Ron’s ability and versatility makes him a dangerous player, these 2 signings, Orlan and the other guys we’ve got coming i am excited for this season ahead”
