Worthing Thunder are pleased to announce the signing of guard Malachi Boakye-Yiadom.

Malachi has spent the last two seasons as the floor general for Brighton Bears. He also adds more NBL1 experience, having previously played for the Manchester Magic.

Malachi commented: “I am excited to join Worthing Thunder this season. I thank God for this amazing opportunity. I look forward to playing and becoming part of the team and the Worthing Thunder community. I appreciate Zaire and Coach Deacon for giving me the opportunity to play”.

Brian Deacon commented: “It’s great to have Malachi on board as he provides us additional strength and versatility at the guard position. Having worked with him previously at Brighton Bears I know he will integrate seamlessly into the squad and coming off an injury that kept him out of the first half of last season, I know he will be out to prove his worth.”
