Thunder Sign 11-Time Champion Elliot Dadds

Worthing Thunder Basketball Club are thrilled to announce the signing of British forward Elliot Dadds ahead of the 2025/26 season. A proven winner with an exceptional resume that includes 13 total championships in his National Basketball League career, Dadds brings elite championship pedigree, versatility, and leadership to the Thunder roster.

In the 2019–20 NBL Division 1 season, Dadds ranked 3rd in assists, averaging 5.9 APG, playing a key role in orchestrating Solent Kestrels’ potent transition offense. A model of consistency on both ends of the floor, he has firmly established himself as one of the league’s most reliable two-way players.

Known for his high basketball IQ, physical presence, and unselfish play, Dadds adds championship experience, toughness, and maturity to a Thunder side aiming for silverware.

GM Zaire Taylor on the signing:

“When signing some players, you need to make sure they are the right fit for your specific team. Elliot has the kind of game that would instantly impact any team in the league, and we are fortunate to have him. It’s a testament to his basketball IQ, offensive versatility, and impact on both sides of the floor. He’s the guy that doesn’t just play each game to win – he plays every single play to win.”

Elliot Dadds on joining Thunder:

“I’m extremely grateful to Worthing for giving me the opportunity to suit up for them this season. I’m excited to coach the U18s as well as help bring success to the men’s team. I’ve had many battles against Thunder over the years – it’s always been one of my favourite places to play because of the fans and the game day experience. I’m ready to leave it all out on the floor. See you soon, Thunder Family!”
