Our FAQ should provide you with all the answers you need to plan your next visit to the Thunderdome. And if you still have a question unanswered, please do get in touch.
No, you don’t need to book in advance, but we would advise it to guarantee your entry and avoid disappointment. Online booking is open until 5pm on the Friday before a game on a given weekend.
Most Worthing Thunder home games are played at the Thunderdome in Worthing Leisure Centre.

If possible, we do however, recommend you buy tickets online in advance to guarantee entry.
When you enter the Leisure Centre foyer you’ll be greeted by our team at 2 desks – 1 for pre-booked tickets and 1 for buying tickets on the door. Get your tickets and collect your wristband. You’ll need this to gain entry to the Thunderdome to watch the game. The wristband also allows you to leave and re-enter during the game.
Yes, you’re welcome to do so, or you can make use of the bar and cafe at the venue.
Before, during and after games, food and drink is available at the venue. Worthing Leisure Centre has a bar serving alcoholic and soft drinks, plus a cafe serving hot and cold food and beverages. Food and drink can be brought into the game to be consumed in the bleachers.
The main event is clearly the basketball and you can expect some fast paced, thrilling game action. Worthing teams are always competitive, tenacious and brimming with talent.
Every game is accompanied by music from our resident DJ and game commentary provided by the legendary Dave Marshall, the voice of Thunder for many years.
Between quarters, we host games for the kids on the court with prizes to be won and after the game, fans can meet their favourite players, get autographs and grab selfies.

No, parking at the leisure centre is free.
Yes, the venue and the spectator areas are accessible. Whilst the majority is tiered bleachers, we can help provide you with appropriate seating or courtside space for wheelchairs. Speak with our event staff for assistance.
