Maynard, from Germantown, Maryland, played 4 years of NCAA ball at Washington Adventist University.

In his first season with Thunder last year, the NBL1 all-time leader scorer became the first player ever to eclipse the 4000 point mark.

The Thunder captain returns for a second year, after a long career at Thames Valley and Hemel.

Elliot is a proven winner with an exceptional resume that includes 13 total championships in his National Basketball League career.

Dadds brings elite championship pedigree, versatility, and leadership to the Thunder roster.

Justin Hopkins

Guard

Justin joins from Reading, where he led the Rockets to 3 championships last season, including a National Cup title where he was named Final MVP.

The American, who attended Texas Southern University, was later named League MVP – the highest individual accolade a player can earn in a season.

Danny Evans

Guard

A former England Under-18 and Great Britain Under-20 star, 6′ 3″ guard Danny Evans, brings a wealth of experience to the Thunder squad.

His collegiate and professional career has spanned the UK, France, Spain and the USA.

Adrian Scarborough

Forward

The 6′ 4″ American Forward joins the Thunder following an exceptional rookie season with the Milton Keynes Breakers, where he quickly established himself as one of the league’s top performers.

Adrian’s efforts earned him First Team All-League honours, and he finished the 2024–25 campaign as the most statistically efficient player in the NBL, averaging an impressive 19 points and 11 rebounds per game.

Matthew Bryan-Amaning

Centre

A 6′ 10″ Centre, Matthew Bryan-Amaning is a physical presence on the court.

He has an extensive resume, with a history with multiple NBA teams, Team GB, as well as many teams internationally. He brings experience, talent, and a championship pedigree, adding immense value to the team.

Briceny Lomeka

Shooting Guard

A 6′ 5″ Shooting Guard, Briceny adds quality depth to the Thunder roster.

Whilst representing Plymouth Marjon University, he was also able to compete professionally with the Plymouth City Patriots in the BBL.

Alfie Price

Guard

A product of the Thunder Junior Programme, Price gained valuable experience last year, splitting his time between the U18 squad and several appearances with the Men’s team.

Alfie will be attending Chichester University this year, competing for their team while being a full-time member of our Thunder roster.
